The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents has welcomed the HSE’s Health and Work Strategy, launched yesterday (Thursday) by Penny Mordaunt, Minister for Disabled People, Work and Health.
Dr Karen McDonnell, RoSPA’s occupational safety and health policy adviser, said: “As a proactive partner in Great Britain’s health and safety system, RoSPA welcomes this vital Health and Work Strategy. We all have our part to play in reducing the burden of occupational disease on the British and indeed the global economy. This type of partnership working between the HSE and the Government is exemplary, and a model for other geographies seeking to improve.”
